FULL DESCRIPTION

A tour dedicated to all those lovers of Sport who want to know more about the Football Team that changed the history of football entertainment:

FC Barcelona. For doing this tour you mustn't be a champion, just pretending!

Sport have always been very important in Barcelona. Even in roman times, the best rider in town became famous when he won the Olympics in the 1st century AD Much later, at the beginning of the 20th Century, football became the best sport in Barcelona. Barça was its main team, and it became a symbol, the national team of Catalonia. That's why we built the Camp Nou, the biggest Football Stadium in Europe.

But the most important transformation of the city took place during the 80' and 90' with the 1992 Olympics: new beaches and harbors, awesome buildings, great opportunities. The main Olympic sites were the Ring at Montjuïc, and the Vila Olímpica and its harbor, both reachable with our e-bikes.

Along our tour we will see all these famous places giving you a fully understanding of the recent history of Barcelona that made it so famous all over.

DISTRICTS

Gothic District

The historic district of Barcelona has a large number of streets named after famous people. The street where our store is located is called Cervantes in honor of the writer since it is said that he used to walk through these streets.

Montjuïc

From the City Center is the closest place to admire the different Panoramics of Barcelona. A big green area, where  you can visit  the Olympic Ring, with the Olympic Stadium and other buildings that where built for the World Exhibition in 1929.

Les Cortes

Many districts of Barcelona were towns close to the territories of the city. Les Corts was an agricultural town that supplied medieval Barcelona. Today it is the neighborhood where the Camp Nou is located and the neighborhood where there are more supporters of the FC Barcelona.

Old Port

Until the Olympic Games of '92, functioned normally with its warehouses and cranes that unloaded goods, today turned into a beautiful promenade where you can enjoy the Mediterranean breeze and the Barcelona  lifestyle.

Sec Town

One of the least known neighborhoods even by the local people. Three large chimneys from an old factory remind us of its industrial past. Today it is considered one of the best "Foodie" areas in Barcelona.

Eixample District

Eixample means Extension. In 1860 it was surrounded by the Medieval Walls and it was necessary to expand the city. Thie grid-like layout and blocks with chamfered corners have made it an iconic symbol of Barcelona
